Do you ever need a quick conversion program that takes you from one instrument format to another? Want to see Vector data with Tony Wahl's WinADV, or run wave analyses on Aquadopp data using Quick Wave??

File conversion programs

The file converter program is a practical utility found in the support section of the WEB site

The "FileConvert" program can be found in the support section of our WEB site along with other conversion utilities such "bin2mat", which converts most instrument data formats to Matlab data format. It also contains "ExploreAQD", a small utilty used to display Aquadopp current meter data.  And then there is "SD6000", which reads ASCII converted Aquapro data, selects one level and displays the data as if it came from a single point current meter.

"FileConvert" can convert:

  1. Vector files to an NDV format that can be read by WinADV and ExploreV
  2. Polysync data files to an NDV format that can be read ExploreV
  3. Aquadopp diagnostic data to an AWAC format that can be ready by QuickWave
  4. Vector burst data files to an AWAC data format that can be read by QuickWave

The Nortek forum also contains several utility programs written in Matlab script language
