Hi,
In my tank, i am having 3.5 cm depth of water. Will it sifficient for vectorino plus to measure its velcoity and turbulence characteritics.

Only if you are using a side-looking probe.

Hi,
I am having normal probe (Four sensor attached vectorino plus). Is there any way so that i will be able to measure it?

Hi
Thanks for your reply.
If i measure from this probe, is there any method to calibrate or provide some correction to these data.

I am afraid not. The fundamental problem is that the sampling volume is not in water. Best regards, Atle Lohrmann

Dear Sir,
I have changed the tank. Now the problem is mytank is fitted with DC motor and rotor. Due to this vibration is coming into the instrument also. I have tried to reduce it still it is coming. So what is the correction measure i should do.
Again sometimes connection with instrument gets closed when i put it into the water tank fitted with DC motor and rotor. What is the cause?
For mounting the instrument in the tank, you can use some sort of rubber material to isolate the mounting clamps from the sorrounding vibrations.
The electrical part of this sounds a little scary. Have you had a person with some electrical expertise look at your setup?
