Hi, i work on a project with 6 slave and 1 master PLC's using radio modem to connect all together, radio has RS232/485 and PLC is siemens with RS232c communication card, can i use this configuration? notice that the radio modem has ability to be addressed, but RS232 has not such ability, i mean to define some nodes, does anyone know a technique for that?

Dear Mahyar

From what you are writing it is very difficult for me to understand the exact details of the system. Is this system something that we have delivered to you?

In any case using one radio with multiple communication lines is possible. However this would most likely mean that you would have to reconfigure the master radio and then request data on that communication line before reconfiguring for the next one. The would depend on a radio which would be reconfigurable through you RS232 interface and also an instrument in the other end that you are able to interogate for data. The instruments can not be used in a streamed way if you want to use one single radio at the master side.

Not sure if this was any help, but I would need some more information to be able to help you further. Also please inform of which instruments you are using.
