Nortek Deployment Software under Vista

As long as Vista is up-to-date, I have found that Nortek deployment software does install and run fine under Windows Vista (at least on my Sony laptop).  However, as delivered, Vista does not contain the WinHlp32.exe on which Nortek Help functionality within the software is based.   When attempting to access Help, users will first see the message:

"Why can't I get Help from this program?

The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which was used in previous versions of Windows and it is not supported in Windows Vista.
For more information, see Windows Help program (WinHlp32.exe) is no longer included with Windows on the Microsoft support website."

Note that you must go through the sometimes flaky Genuine Microsoft Validation process.   I had to use the "alternate" validation method, but following that, the patch works fine and the help files within the programs are fully functional.  

Note also that Microsoft does not allow Nortek to distribute the patch with Nortek software.
