Low SNR, advanced menu

We are working with a vectrino in a labaratory flume with verlocities of about 10 cm/s and debths of 30 cm. Here are the probe check results:

Noise level:    85

Peak Level:    110

Peak Pos.:     100

 We tried already tried seeding but the results were hardly better. We read some postings in the forum about changing the signal level in the advanced menu.

Were is the advanced menu?

The noise level is suspiciously high.  Please see if you can make it come down by turning off engines that may be running or by moving the Vectrino around.  Also make sure the Vectrino transmit power is set to "High".

thanks for your reply, we will do some test on running engines ect. One question remains: Were can I set the transmit power?

Dear Mr. Seidel,

The transmit power is set under power level in the lower left corner of the configuration screen (Data Collection -> Edit Configuration). This setting is used both for regular velocity measurements as well as during probe check.
