Aquadopp ASCII data Output

Hi,

this is the data format I recieve  from the current profiler using my data aquiisiotn software.

I am looking for speed @ E , N & N.. However I just see two columns with values for each  cell/bin.

Hi Radhika,

This ASCII output from the Aquadopp Profiler only outputs the speed and direction for each bin. After the cell number in the first column, the next value is the speed in mm/s. The last column contains the direction with a resolution of 0.1 degrees. In your sample profile this means that in the first cell you have a speed of 0.281 m/s with a direction of 236.8 degrees.
