small measurement interval

Posted by Cláudia Neto viegas at March 18. 2008

Hi.

I have some questions about Data acquisition with Aquadoop (with a asymmetric sensor head).

1-     Can a choose a measurement interval smaller than 600s?

2-     The results with a measurement interval with 120s and a average interval with 60 can be ok? Or the measurement interval is to short? (This is for a deployment of 5hours)

3-     In our deployments, we cannot put the aquadopp  fixed in a structure, we put him, suspended in a buoy (locking down), but with the current the aquadopp can move, how can we now if our results are ok? How mutch can change the pitch and roll? And hoe can we correct our results?

Tanks you for the attention.

Cláudia
