Leading integrated subsea and offshore solution provider Unique Group has added Nortek’s long range profiling instrument Signature55 to its global lease pool. The instrument has been acquired to give oil and gas customers flexible access to long range profiling capability.
Nortek, together with Griffith University’s School of Engineering, and Australian marine services company Imbros, will be conducting a one-day advanced training course on current, wave and turbulence measurement on Australia’s beautiful Gold Coast.
Nortek is pleased to announce that the long awaited mid-range profiler Signature250 is now in production. It has an optional center beam for the patented SUV wave measurement mode – which means it can be deployed on subsurface buoys at depths as great as 150 meters. With Signature250, Nortek’s professional users now have available the most versatile family of profiler instruments in the industry.
The trend in the underwater vehicle community is for smaller size and greater flexibility. Nortek has therefore designed a DVL with workclass capability that fits in the palm of your hand – while offering higher precision navigation.
