How to separate want and unwanted data?

Posted by chong at March 27. 2009
Hi,

We were facing problem to separate want and unwanted data records after using AWAC-AST. The overall data records contain data of year 2007, 2008, and 2009 but we only want the data of year 2009. Thus, can you tell us how to solve the problem? Shall I give you the file to take a look? We appreciate very much for your help.

Dear Yik Kean

You can set the start and stop date when you convert the data from the binary *.wpr file to ASCII,  Is this what you are looking for?

Hi Atle,

Yes, that is what i am looking for. However,  the data that has been converted to ASCII didn't  arranged well according to date and time. Is there a way to solve this problem?

Hi, I am not quite sure I understand the origin of the problem but if the date and times are jumbled, it would suggest that the file is damaged. Maybe you can upload the file to ftp.nortek-as.com/pub/incoming and we can take a look.
