Aquadopp Profiler ASCII Output

Hi.  Can you please tell me what the units are for velocity in this sample ASCII output from an Aquadopp Profiler:

04 21 2005 13 49 03    0   49  17.4 1509.2 151.1    4.0  -6.2   0.616  31.07     0     0 3  30
1    0.024   -0.138   -0.058 127 123 124
2   -0.110    0.011   -0.021 108 120 114
3    0.168   -0.014   -0.010 111 115 131
4   -0.057    0.456   -0.100 117 120 155
5   -0.021   -0.114    0.038 182 121 201
6   -0.046   -0.224    0.101 172 155 199
7   -0.157    0.360    0.026  86 167 168
8   -0.384   -0.181    0.128  65 111 125
9   -0.008   -0.193    0.039  61  68 103
10   -0.060    0.068    0.010  65  52  95

Does any of the top line describe the cell size?

Hi Eric,

When you check for ASCII format in the Disk Filename menu selection in the AquaPro software, the corresponding data file contains velocities in m/s.

From left to right, the data output in the top line are:
1   Month              (1-12)
2   Day                 (1-31)
3   Year
4   Hour                (0-23)
5   Minute             (0-59)
6   Second            (0-59)
7   Error code
8   Status code
9   Battery voltage  (V)
10  Soundspeed       (m/s)
11  Heading             (degrees)
12  Pitch                 (degrees)
13  Roll                   (degrees)
14  Pressure            (dbar)
15  Temperature       (degrees C)
16  Analog input 1
17  Analog input 2
18  Number of beams
19  Number of cells

There is no output of the cell size.

Best regards,
Sven Nylund
