AWAC AST .stg file output

Posted by Jens Kruger at August 31. 2010

Hi,

I have converted my binary .wpr AWAC files into readable ASCII files using AWAC AST v1.36. One of the files I get has a .stg extension. I have been unable to find any documentation for this file anywhere.

I am wondering what the stg file structure and data format is, and what kind of information does it hold?

cheers, Jens

Hi Jens,

The .stg is the stage data file. It is sampled in front of each wave burst. This is a file for diagnostics purposes. It doesn't give meaningful data, but is a good tool for us if we need to do trouble shooting.

The format for it is described in the .hdr file, but also pasted below ;)

A more technically detailed describtion is available in our system integrator manual

Best regards

Jonas Røstad
