Correction for Velocity which Exceed the Limit

Posted by WangZY at November 08. 2011

Some of our insitu velocity data exceeded the limit, so I transform the data into Beam(from ENU) velocity and try to correct them.

The Correction method is shift the exceeded data to the right level(form A to B, as shown in the attached Fig). Now the problem is how to determine a correct offset, is it equal to the beam velocity range 2*v=2*C/(4*f*delta t), then how to get delta t? Or can we gain the offset just from Horizontal Vel. range & Vertical Vel. range shown on the Deployment Planning Dialog?

Best Regards!

Vertical velocity range will work fine for your correction and will be the easiest to determine.
