Maximum DC input voltage
Hi,
As part of a monitoring program, we' ve been doing a lot of AWAC deployments using our own battery packs, mounted with alkaline D sized batteries. The batteries mounted with the scheme we're using lasts for 120 days, but we' ve only been using them for 70-80 days, after what we don't use them anymore, throwing them out. Because of this matter, we are trying to develop a new mounting scheme that fit our needs more precisely. In order to do this, we need to know the maximum DC input voltage as much as the minimum to make the equipment work. The AWAC manual specifies this values as 18.6V (max) and 13.5 (min), are this unquestionable limits? In our experience, the equipment has been collecting data on voltages as low as 11 V. In the new mounting scheme we are willing to use we need to start the deployment with 19.3 V, is the possible?
Thanks,
Pedro
