Oceanology 2010

OI 2010 is coming up this week and the anticipation is building. Last time we were frustrated by the high costs, the lack of "real" customers, and the fatigue of talking all the time without really accomplishing anything.

We concluded that we would go with a much smaller stand in 2010 since this really is a B2B show anyway.  This time we have only have a 10 square meters fronted by NortekUK, which probably will not be an appropriate reflection of the company success over the last two years.  In hindsight the decision "to go small" probably was made with too much haste since the booth in no way can accommodate all the Nortek people who are descending on Excel this Tuesday.   I suppose we will all be roaming around, using other peoples booth space instead.  Maybe we can pay for the beer :)

Look forward to seeing you there!.

PS. Passing through Toronto airport it is great to see that hydrodynamics is getting into everyday life with a Plexiglass circulation chamber containing what looks like plastic cubes.  Lots of people stopped to take photos!
