Nortek and Sailing
Life is not all work and work is not everything. However, having work merge with your hobbies certainly makes things more interesting.
At Nortek, we have a keen interest in sailing as amateur dinghy sailors, wind surfers, yachtsmen, and as curious spectators of the professional sailing circuit. In the last few year we have been able to merge this interest with our professional interest in developing equipment that can measure waves, currents, and recently the "leeway" or "crabbling angle" of a sail boat. At some point we hope to see Nortek equipment at the upwind mark of all major sailing competitons and in the hull of every competitive sail boat. We invite you to follow our work in these areas as it progresses.
